One more day

One more day until Senior day meaning I'll have to hear the usual is it senior day and did you give me my discount. Ugh always annoying. There are those that are a joy to wait on. They make jokes and always have a good upbeat mood. Those are the type that don't ask if I gave them a discount. The ones that do are those that are either grouchy or that are so forgetful that they've tried my patience and I'm just fizzled out. Oh joy.
Tattoo update time. It's currently still itchy and in the stages of peeling. That means by the end of this week it should be done peeling and itching. Yay.
Last night my roommate was watching Keith Olberman and the final story was about a guy in rural Kentucky that had his house burn down. That of course isn't what made it news worthy. What made it news worthy was that the fire department came to the house and watched it burn. But wait. There's more. Turns out that every house in that town is suppose to pay $75 for fire protection. This guy got his notice, but says he forgot to pay it. When he called up 911 the operator said you didn't pay your fire protection and he pleaded that he'd pay anything just get him some help. Now this is your catch 22 type story. Yeah you want to side with the guy, but at the same time all he had to do was pay $75 once a year to make sure that it didn't happen. The town doesn't have a fire department of their own so they have to borrow one. I listened to the end of his interview and he says I know people don't think you forget to pay for this stuff, but I did. What more is that the fire was the guys fault. He was burning trash and one of his corn stalk caught fire and well now he doesn't have a house. Plus this fee wasn't something that just happened over night. It was around for 15 years. Apparently the old fire chief use to send a truck and make people pay afterwards. As the guy said he would "bend the rules". Well there you go. Probably one reason why he's not in his job anymore. I don't know who to side with in this story. I want to side with the guy, but at the same time he brought it upon himself. I want to blame the fire department, but they were just following the rules and weren't going to bend the rules for anyone. Like I said it just bugs me not siding with someone.
Today's tip is paying for protection against accidents is a smart idea. The reason they are called accidents is because no one can predict them.

Back to the old grind

Well first up is a tattoo update. IT ITCHES AND IT'S DRIVING ME INSANE! That is all.
So I've obviously had enough of these political ads for elections. The main reason is because everyone is blaming everyone else. In their haste to blame others they do this double talk. I've seen ads that keep going on about how Washington created the deficit and job loss. yeah that's true. Then they'll go on and say the stimulus didn't work. Ok it did work. It made sure the recession was not much worse. Economist said that not politicians. Then they will say under me we will create jobs. Ok wait you said the stimulus didn't work. How can you (a government official) create jobs if the biggest bit of government couldn't? See what I mean by this double talk. Or this big push. Saying that under this person thousands of jobs were lost. Well under a lot of people jobs were lost. That's what happens when your in a RECESSION! This recent one I saw said that the incumbent is trying to save his seat. Well duh! Of course he is. Every incumbent is. If a President has only served one term they typically try to go in for a 2nd one to "save their job". What kind of attack ad is that? That is one reason why I hate election season. Everyone gets swept up in blaming everyone else and trying to look good for the public that they will lie tot he public. They will say government doesn't create jobs, but if you elect me I'll create jobs. If you elect me I'll cut wasteful spending. Well what is your definition of wasteful spending? Education? Unemployment? State run health care? Readers look at your candidates. Don't just blindly vote because of party. Vote based on who makes the most sense. Vote for the person that's honest with you. Vote for the person that truly seems like they have a plan and will work for you.
I'm sure we all know the story of the freshman at Rutgers. I have avoided this topic because well everyone has had an opinion and I didn't want to jump into this, but I saw something that pissed me off. The roommate said it was a prank. How the hell is streaming live video of someone having sex all over the internet a "prank". A prank would be to say oh btw I recorded you with this webcam. Just kidding it wasn't on. That's a prank. Not a good one, but it is one. That wasn't a prank. You were out to ruin him. then people that knew the guy said oh he's not homophobic he has gay friends. THAT'S NOT A DEFENSE! That's the whole I'm not racist because I have black friends defense. Granted usually the "defense" is saying that you have a family member who's gay. Well let me point out why that's not a defense. You can't choose family members. On top of that we don't know how you treat them. For all we know you avoid them like the plague. Then saying you have gay friends just means you were looking for friends who were gay, not friends who just happen to be gay. That logic pisses me off. You did a horrible thing so just admit it. You had no business invading your roommates privacy like that and spreading it with the world. Straight or gay that's not right. The thing that really pisses me off is I have a friend who goes to Rutgers and that university has been through so much crap. I hope he's ok I really do.
I don't know how many of you ever heard of the show Code Lyoko. If you haven't I suggest watching it. I use to watch it but it kept coming on at weird times and never got to really finish it. So this is the opening for the final season. Well I assume it's the final season. Anyway it's something interesting to watch if you have some free time. Today's tip is a little bit of logic goes a long way however a lot of stupidity likes to cover up logic.

New day. New Laptop

That's right today I'm blogging from my brand spanking new laptop. I must say I had one of the best birthdays in a long time. It might be because I got to do what I wanted and didn't have to go to school. It could be because a ton more people told me happy birthday. It could be that I'm truly better off emotionally then I was a few years ago. Whatever it is I'm glad it happened.
So went to Best Buy to get my laptop and I'm not going to lie. I got a little freaked out when I couldn't find the laptop I was looking for. Well after searching for a bit I found it. Now it wasn't blue, but of course I could think of worse things. I get it home and I just played with it. Still in the process of transferring all my crap over. I have a lot of crap. The music I'm not so worried about because my mp3 player has them all. This is just making sure I have pictures, programs, etc. Oh and when I got back from Best Buy I found a penny heads up.
Then came time for my tattoo. I think the rule of them is the crazier your tattoo artist the better your tattoo. Maybe that's just what I observed. Oh and this is also for an artist that has a crazy appearance. This guy went on and on about Aliens. Now this wouldn't have been too terrible if I hadn't brought it upon myself. I didn't just get out of it when I had the chance. Plus I guess I was giving off this signal of yes please tell me all about Aliens. Anyway the tattoo came out great though. I swear this one hurt more then my first one, but it's smaller and it already looks better then my other one at this stage in the game. Then again my first one I got later in the day. Anyway it's looking better and hopefully won't take nearly as long to heal.
The funny thing about yesterday is it started off with the worst cramp of my life. It was a calf cramp. If you've ever had one of those you know what I'm talking about. It woke me up at about 3:30 and I could not get comfortable. Finally the pain went down enough I could use the bathroom. When I woke up to go tot he gym it was better, but not the best. Anyway I get to the gym and the bike I like to use to warm up was taken. So I used the treadmill figuring that would help stretch out the cramp and it did. So I was in the gym with a somewhat cramped right calf. Doing a leg workout mind you. Well I got through it. Now my ass is sore and so is my right calf. Probably pushed it more then normal because it was cramping up. Oh well.
Well when I was finding the song Beauty and the Beast I saw one of my (if not my) favorite song from that movie. I honestly think it was one of the better movies Disney did. Anyway the song is Belle. Is so funny Belle is singing about how life is so boring and predictable while everyone else is talking about how odd she is. Makes you think doesn't it. Anyway today's tip is even a day that doesn't start out great can lead to one of your best days ever.

Hmmm little to early to be annoyed

And yet I am. Going to prove why I can't stand vendors. Anyway I'll get into that tomorrow. Got to have something to rant about tomorrow. Today looks like it's going to be a dull day.
So yesterday I had this customer that comes in from time to time. Always has his headphones in and always says he's just looking except yesterday. I swear the guy hates silence or something. He always seems to want to talk especially when I'm checking him out at the register. He's the same guy that asked me if I watched UFC and I said no, but my brother is and he kept talking about it. Anyway so we are at the front desk and he says so how's business. I said it's good. Then he said something that I'm sure he didn't even realize was a stupid thing to say. He says never seems to be busy whenever I come in. Well you are still here so obviously business is good. Just so you know the last time he was in it was pretty busy. So I just quickly retort with depends on the time of the day. Now why would you go and say that it never seems busy. Who does that help? For some businesses that's rubbing salt in the wounds. Like I said maybe he just doesn't like silences so he rather stick his foot in his mouth.
Yesterday I went to go set up an appointment for my tattoo. I call up and the guy is talking then all of sudden goes on a rant about how he hates kids because a kid threw up. Well turns out it's his own kid. Wow clearly someone is a great parent. How about you use protection and try not to have kids. Anyway so I get there and it's a tiny hole in the wall. He apparently watches his son from the time he opens until sometime in the afternoon. Ok then why open up at that time? Anyway so I showed him what I wanted and he's like well I can trick it out for you. Just doing the kanji in black in white is $80, but if I trick it out it's just $130. So I asked him what would he do if he "tricked it out". He said well I could put chrome on it or make it look like it's in 3-D. I asked well can I have a sketch. He says oh I don't do sketch not since I got all those photos in my portfolio. Just take a look. I saw nothing that just stuck out to me. He then says well I'll make you a deal. If you don't like the color I'll go over it in black at no charge. So what could happen is that I pay $50 more to get it "tricked out", and then end up with exactly what I wanted before, but out $50. Yeah I'll just go with what I wanted originally and keep my $50. That way I don't have to worry. Ugh tattoo artists are such divas. The guy I got my first tattoo from was pretty much like that except he thought color wouldn't show up well on my skin. Apparently now it does.
Today's tip is filling an awkward silence by sticking your foot in your mouth just leaves you with a bad taste.

Well my day is going good.

Yep I found out that my weight went up and bodyfat went down. So as you can imagine I'm super happy. I finally passed the 162 mark without having to go on vacation. So of course that makes me all happy. I've been trying to get my weight up. Now if I can keep getting it up I'd be happy. The shocking part is even though I am now 23 lbs heavier then I was and my body fat went down about 1% and yet my body fat weight went down. It's kinda shocking. Goes against what you would think. Well I'm tickled pink. Pretty much everything went up except the shoulders which went down a smidge, but that could be because we were having trouble with my shoulders. Then again when I was getting measured last time either I did a back workout or an arm workout. So I decided to check to see how symmetrical I am. Yeah I'm all over the place. My upper body is under and my legs are over. The funny thing is my legs seem smaller to me. Seems like my upper body is bigger then my lower body. Well guess I was wrong on that. That's a good thing.
So yesterday I was talking to my room mate about how my co-worker wants to get another tattoo. He has 5 or 6 now. Anyway so as I was watching family guy he was reading his horoscope. He then goes into the Chinese zodiac signs and noticed the Chinese symbols for each animal. So he jokingly said hey we should get our Chinese zodiac symbols tattooed on our right arms. Then the more I thought about it the better of an idea it sounds. I mean I have the western zodiac symbol on my left arm. Why not put my Chinese one on my right. Then I was thinking some more that maybe I should put the symbol for Earth on my back. I guess I'm starting to get addicted to tattoos. I mean a year ago the one on my right arm was enough. Now I'm talking about getting 2 more. Funny how things happen as you get older. Well at least these two won't hurt as much or take as long or cost as much. Least I hope not. I guess it depends on of course on the artist and how big I want to make it.
Well now that I've gotten my workout plan all set up I can't really wait to try it out. I think it's going to be the thing that really helps get me more muscle weight. Plus I think Anavol might actually be helping. I don't know since it's I've also been taking other products recently. For example I'm back on Xpand Xtreme which was one I believe I was taking when my body fat levels dropped a lot. I'm also taking Kre-Alkalyn which I kinda recently started. I did start it last month, but those were samples and I liked what it was doing so I bought a bottle. So maybe it was all three of those things working. Oh wait forgot waximaze. That's another one that could explain the recent increase in muscle mass. Waximaze and Xpand Xtreme lead to better pumps which leads to more muscle growth. So depending on what happens next month. Then again I want to try this anabolic that I gained 3 lbs of pure muscle on. Actually it was 3.91 lbs and I gained 3.46 lbs. So I'm going to give it another shot. Hopefully it works a whole lot better. We've had guys come in saying they really saw an increase. I'd like to see that increase that's for sure.
So this week is going to be an interesting one. Tomorrow I won't be able to blog until later or I'll have to try to write a short one that hits 750 words before the back room is off limits. Then the rest of the is going to be crazy. I do know that I might have to come in on Saturday when I'm suppose to have that day off making it hard for me to get a hair cut. Well I guess if I get it done early enough then I'll be ok. Not like it takes me too long to get my hair cut.
