.....alrighty then

Like I said yesterday I watched Paranormal Activity 2. I must say that it didn't go like I thought it was. Yes I think it was a good movie. The annoying thing was that clearly there were more cameras so I was expecting to see a lot more freaky things. Plus seemed like there were too many loose ends. Plus the fact that it was a sequel that was a prequel. I hate that. If I had known it was a prequel at least I would have been in the right frame of mind for that.
I swear me and my co-worker act a lot like siblings. Don't know why that happened. Probably because he likes to poke fun at people and so do I. So we have a give and take relationship. It's kinda funny. Maybe it's because I don't have an older brother. Maybe it's because I miss my younger brother. Oh well.
The video for today is the opening for Knights of the Zodiac. That was the short lived dub of the anime Saint Seiya. The opening is I Ran by Bowling for Soup. The dub didn't get very far. Mainly because well... like many dubs it was way over edited. Try to find a good sub of Saint Seiya and you'll most likely just find one in Spanish. Anyway enjoy. Today's tip is dreams can tell us a lot about ourselves, or scare us crapless.

Rainy day

It's Saturday and I have off. Of course that means it must rain today. Well at least I'll get to watch Paranormal Activity 2 today. Should be fun. My mind is clearly in the mood to watch something like that. Last night I had some weird dreams. One was about me visiting this Hotel and being trapped there because of a ghost named Oscar. He apparently could either be very neutral or very dangerous. The weird thing about the dream is I'd wake up then go back to sleep and it would continue. Then eventually it stopped and another weird dream started. Something about me owning a tattoo/shirt store. Weird.
It was a pretty good day yesterday. Apparently the guy that yelled at the neighbor was rearranging his cards. Also was yelling at cars. So we are suppose to call the police every time we see him. Should be fun.
Today's video is the trailer for Paranormal Activity 2. I really want to see it because it looks like there are going to be far more angles to see anything weird that might happen. Plus it seems to keep true to the 1st movie. Should be fun. Today's tip is it's not a good idea to annoy the police. They have buddies. Plus they tend to have your license plate.

Crazy morning

So this morning I've been hustling and bustling. I forgot my key to get into the gym so I had to run and back to the apartment and get that. Then it was a pretty relaxing day at the gym. No one came into the back to bug me. Weight hog was on the floor doing ab exercises on the wood floor. Then all of a sudden everyone seemed to come in. First it was one of the trainers. Well the former manager now trainer. She opens up the trainer office and turns on the light. Then I see an older lady I haven't seen since I really started. Behind her was who I thought was the male trainer that's an asshole. Luckily it wasn't, but he was an asshole. I say that because he was one of those guys that goes from machine to machine doing like 6 reps at max and not wiping the machines. So when he worked out on a machine I was about to use I made sure to make a scene as I grabbed a wipe and wiped the machine. He then got the hint and wiped the machine. As soon as I went up front to do my cool down he of course jumped again and didn't wipe. Ugh gross.
I was watching an interview on Good Morning America. Roommate had it on. Anyway it was with two of the stars of Social Network. I must say that movie does not appeal to me. Why would I want to see a movie about how a site was made? That's like a documentary. Except this one is clearly fiction. What I mean is that I don't think any of the people involved in the story really had any say in the movie. So all the people making the script have to go on is some records and speculation. Anyway I don't want to see that movie. Just doesn't seem like my life will be enhanced by watching the movie. At least with other movies there is something you come away with. Comedies make you feel good. Romance movies could help you get some. So on and so forth. This movie just doesn't seem like it would do anything for me. Kinda well lame.
The other big story was that a family had to give up the child they adopted because she was threatening to break up the family. The child had fetal alcohol. Meaning her brain didn't develop like it should. Plus she's bipolar. Well it turns out that the record for the mother was wiped clean by the brother. The mother apparently wanted a good family for the child. Well how the hell did that help? How does lying to a family help your child. Apparently she thought there would be no signs from the drugs or alcohol. The worse thing is that the brother helped out with this. Did he think it wouldn't be traced back to him? Did he think it would really be that easy. The thing is that if the record had said about the alcohol a family that is willing to deal with that will step up. I've seen it before. If they at least know what's coming it won't be a shock. When they don't know what's coming why would the family really want to keep the child. The child is suicidal. Runs into traffic any chance she gets. They have had to do multiple hospital stays. The money to keep the child from trying to kill herself has to be astronomical. Plus the child said the mother hit her which everyone knows isn't true. That means the family could have lost their own children. All I know is that if I was the family I'd sue the brother and hopefully he's facing criminal charges too. Messing with records like that has to be illegal.
Today's tip is try not to be redundant when trying to say good things about someone. Makes it appear that they only have a few good qualities.

Oh yeah sore

So yesterday I did squats for the first time in like ever and boy am I sore. I was kinda a little sore yesterday afterwards, but when I got up this morning part of my lower back was sore, my legs were sore. They still kinda are, but it's a functional sore now. Which is good because I'm at work right now. Had a guest over last night and we watched The Wrestler. Now I had several issues with this movie, but don't want to talk about them because if you've never seen it then you'd hate me for spoiling it. Anyway after the movie was done and I started thinking which is always a bad sign. The story reminds me of Don Quixote. If you don't know what that story is then go look it up. If you do then go watch the wrestler if you haven't. If you have done both the I'm sure you can see why I made that conclusion. The funny thing about the movie is that I'm sure all the wrestling federations out there hated that movie for giving away all their secrets. Or even saying that everyone does steroids. Even though it's kinda obvious that most of them have at some point taken something. Look at Hulk Hogan. No seriously look at when he first came on the scene, about the middle of his career, towards the end of his career and now. See what I mean. Just even google image it and you'll see the change. Or how about Macho Man Randy Savage (who btw looks so old now meaning clearly someone was dying his hair). Or even the past history of deaths in the wrestling industry. Anyway so like I said I'm sure the TV wrestling federations loved this movie. Since I showed the live action version of Sailor Moon yesterday I figured I'd go with the classic anime. This is all of Sailor Moons transformations and attacks. I would do one that shows everyone's transformations and attacks, but well that would be really long since Sailor Moon alone takes almost 10 minutes. Plus the other sailor scouts have at least 3 transformations, but like 4 attacks. Plus that's not counting Chibi Moon, The outer Sailor Scouts, and the Sailor Starlights. Maybe I'll do them later on. Anyway enjoy. Today's tip is sampling is ok when trying to make a choice on a purchase. It is not meant to be a lifestyle.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

That's right it be St. Patrick's Day. If you couldn't tell from the subject of this blog or the fact I'm typing in green. Yay green. I am set when it comes to not pinching. My blog is green, I'm wearing green, my profile pic on facebook is green, and my avatar on gaia is green. Yeah no one can pinch me boo ya. Yesterday I got paranormal activity in the mail and I'm watching it tonight since all my comedies will be repeats. I know I've seen it before, but I love it. It just is different from other movies that are out. I thought it also did a good job of scaring me and since it looked like a hoe movie it looks like it's something that can happen so it's even freakier. I just want to know how they did some of the things they did. Of course there are issues I have with it like that if that was happening to someone I knew I would have done more. Or not been an ass and got someone that knew what they were doing. Let's see oh I didn't get up to work out this morning. I was just flat out too tired. I didn't get much sleep last night. Seems like I was waking up every 10 minutes. So that means workout tomorrow morning and Friday morning no matter what. Ugh Friday is going to be a bitch. So yeah that's pretty much it. Today is suppose to get up to 63 which is great, but go down to 40 something Saturday...curse you Wisconsin weather.<--- look green squibies. So yeah I have to keep up the green theme and I'm doing it with this video. It's the song Legend of Mermaid by the green pearl mermaid Lina or Rina depending on the subtitles you read or the site you go to. Yeah I couldn't help it. Could have done Invader Zim or the Hulk, but well I like this better because she has a REALLY good voice. Plus she's one of the funniest characters because she's so serious one minute then she does something like holds up a giant tv and starts crying. Got to love anime. Today's tip is if you forgot to wear green today just say your wearing green underwear. No one will check.

It's V-day

I'm still trying to figure out if I'm anti-V-day or still for it slightly. I say this because well for 21 years straight I never had anyone for a Valentine. Kinda makes the holiday an annoying one. No one wants to be single on the day for couples. So eventually I got really cynical about it, but after my stay in the hospital kinda not so anymore. Now I do hate how it's so commercial and stuff. It always makes it sound like the rest of the year you can blow off unless it's a b-day or anniversary. Plus I swear guys always seem to think they are going to score today. Tons of guys came into the store yesterday to buy male enhancement. Well if it makes the wife and/or girlfriend and/or boyfriend happy then go for it. At my store however only had a few visitors. On the plus side I did see Wolfman. The sad part is that I swear the sour patch kids at the theater made me sick. It was the same type of sick I get whenever I lose a lot of blood which was the weird part. Maybe I was feeling sympathy pains for all the people that lost limbs and organs and stuff. Will admit that I thought it would have ended differently. Plus I would have thought the werewolf would have been more well wolf like then man like. Well come to think of it, I think it's a remake of an old movie and that's kinda what the werewolf looked like. Probably wasn't as graphic though. So today I have/got a lot of stuff done. Plus I work the new store again tomorrow. Should be fun... if people show up that is. Which reminds me I hear it's not looking good for Canada. Apparently their women's hockey team won 18-0 in their match with some other country and people are pissed about it. I can understand why. I mean that's like the highest score I've ever seen in hockey. You'd think that after the first half they'd say yeah we only need to score maybe one or two more times. Guess that's what happens when you let Canada host the Olympics. They think it's their time the shine and tend to not care about their rep. On the day of lovers do not forget that dining and dashing is still a crime.

Today will be good

One way or another. Yesterday no one came into the store so my boss' daughter made us a craigslist. That was cool. I mean I could have made one, but honestly I've never used craigslist. I have used twitter and I have used facebook. I know how to do stuff on those sites, so I guess it makes sense that we ask someone else for help on a site that they know better. Here's hoping it brings people in. She said the worse that could happen is they take it down. Plus tonight I shall be watching Wolfman. Should be fun because I get to watch it for free. When I watched Avatar at the theater I'm going to it died in the middle of the showing and they fixed it, but gave me a free ticket. So that's why I'm all excited to go see it. I kinda want it to happen again so I can see another free movie. Of course when I think about it basically seeing Avatar in 3-D basically cost the price of two tickets. Probably the only reason why we got the free tickets. I bet a lot more has to happen during a 2-D movie before they give out one of those tickets. Oh and the winter Olympics started. Ask me how much I care. Yeah I don't. I really can't stand any form of Olympics. I'm not really a sports guy. Plus I really don't get it. I mean it would be one thing if like the nation that wins the most gold gets a portion of their debt with other countries settled. Yeah then I might be interested, but again that's just me. I just realized that the summer Olympics will be held in 2012. Again I find that funny. Plus I heard that a Luger died and they didn't postpone the opening ceremony. Heard the track was pretty dangerous, but of course the officials aren't blaming the track even though there have been tons of crashes in the training runs. So far they are off to a great start. Heard the opening wasn't all that great either. I worked out and watched Ben 10 Alien Force instead of watching the opening. Yeah apparently the most developed part of me is my back. Yeah that's great. I have a great area that I can't even see. Yeah that's not frustrating. I'd pay for a good front and a so so back. I also swear my body fat has dropped again. Maybe it's just my mind. I'll be measured in about a week or so, so we'll see. Today's tip is no one is an expert at everything. Never be afraid to ask for help. Unless the expert is an expert in fear.

Got a lot done

So yesterday I got a lot of stuff done. Did the laundry and started looking for a new apartment. There are quite a lot of good places near my job or new job. There are a surprising number of places that allow pets. Mainly cats though. Not that I don't like having a cat, but I've done that before. I kinda want to try having a dog. I also went out and rented 4 movies. "Oh, God!", Rent, Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Robin Hood Men in Tights. Yeah I have a lot of free time this weekend. Plus I plan on watching Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan. That one is an anime not a movie. Anyway like I said a lot of free time. Which reminds me Jay Leno is officially on my nerves. I've never been a fan of his and I admit that. Anyway so he leaves the Tonight Show, then decides never mind I'm going to come back just on earlier. This is the point that he really got on my nerves. Now NBC only has 2 hours of prime time. Now shows that should have gotten a chance got moved and now they can't go past that time slot for anything. Now that Leno isn't getting the ratings he wants he wants to bitch and moan about how he's on too early and wants his old time slot back. Ok you jerk you already left. It's Conan's turn. He was promised that show and now he has it and NBC is actually thinking about giving it back to Leno. Wow that's just sad. Leno is officially Brett Farve. NBC should do what the Packers did. Say no you retired we have faith in this new guy go away. Well that's my two cents on the matter. Squiby time. So I was watching Phineas and Ferb and it was the cliptastic episode. There is one song that I find really funny. It's called Little Brothers. Just watch it. I love the ending of it.
Today's tip is There are days when things just go your way. Enjoy it because they are few and fleeting.

New Day, New Year, New Decade, New Blog

So this is my first post on my new blog. Too bad right now my blog is acting up. I can't seem to get my tweets to show up. Might have to wait until a new gadget for twitter comes out. When I preview it it's fine. Ugh anyway so I had a good New Years Eve. Went to go see Avatar in 3-D. Wasn't that bad. The screen went blank for a bit and so I got a free re-admission ticket. It's funny how as soon as it went blank like 20% of the people went out to talk to someone. I mean do you really think that they don't know that it went blank. The reason why it went blank is probably because it was half green so the were trying to fix it. I guess that's the society we live in. If something goes wrong you have to be one of the first to complain and you have to get something in return. Guess it's just something you notice. Oh one thing I have noticed is the fact that my movie also got pushed back. It was suppose to start at 7 and it actually started at 7:45. How weird is that. Meh it happens. Well these are my squibies. They are little things that people drew and put on the site squiby.net. It's a fun site. I posted my profile in the links if you want to see all mine. Oh just so you know squiby is suppose to go down later today for a whole day so if you don't see anything when your viewing this that's probably why. Well I'm off to go do some new years stuff. So I leave you with this tip for today. It's a new day of a new year of a new decade. Remember that means a new slate. So don't punt that cat for another day.
